The number one documents scanning service provider that also offers other digital print and reprographic services that operates professionally, ethically, and respectfully has a rare opportunity for a Business Development Manager in its Birmingham branch.
The role is split 70% new business 30% account management with uncapped commission.
- Identifying new business and developing it into a sales opportunity promoting the services via leads, cold calls and site visits.
- Managing all new accounts to ensure they receive a full, supportive sales service and identify growth areas.
- Assisting Customers to achieve their deadlines by understanding and providing the best solution for their individual needs.
- Reciprocation and effective networking between branches.
- Liaising with Customers, preparing quotations and the follow up of all outstanding quotes.
- Developing and maintaining industry knowledge and presence.
- Engaging in relative networking events.
- Maintain a strong awareness of competitors and market intelligence
- At least three years proven experience within a target driven, B2B & B2C environment
- Experience selling scanning and digital mailroom solutions
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A clear understanding of the sales process
- A Full understanding of document scanning processes and pricing structures
